When you plan your trip to Florida, some destinations in the Sunshine State should be on every one’s list. Disney World in Orlando, is probably the number one most popular destination in Florida. There are a lot of other theme parks in Orlando too. Like seeing all the bird life, at Busch Gardens, or you can catch all the whales and dolphins at Sea World. Miami Beach is a city most travelers to Florida want to experience. For it’s beautiful sandy beaches, and wonderful sights and sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. When the lights go down, the music is turned up on South Beach. It has some of the trendiest night spots in the world. It’s become a widely regarded fashion center, with some of the most celebrated designers on display at the various trendy shops in the area. Fort Lauderdale has for several decades now been regarded as the one of the most popular spring break spots in the US. It has a vibrant night life, to facilitate college snow birds from all points east, however visitors of all ages frequent the area. It has some very lovely boating areas, and very engaging museums to explore to early beginnings of South Florida.
The most Southern point in the US is located in Key West, and a lot of people heading to Florida, make this tropical paradise a must see stop. It has hundreds of miles of pristine sandy beaches to explore and very trendy restaurants and boutiques that draw in visitors all over the world. Key West is the home of arguably one of the most prolific American authors, Ernest Hemingway. You can get a closer glimpse into his life and loves at the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum. You can stroll around the immaculate gardens and home, that Hemingway once roamed, a truly must see location. Another area of Florida that is a spring break destination but a lot more too, is Daytona Beach. It offers close to 30 miles of uninterrupted beaches, and lots of boating activities. If you’re a NASCAR enthusiast, you may want to time your stop there, for race day activities. Some off the beaten path types of things to see in the area are, Ponce De Leon Lighthouse, is rich in history of the area and of the explorer the area is named after.
